The Monarch Crest Crank is the historic fundraiser for the Chaffee County Alliance Against Domestic Abuse (AADA) and 2013 will be the best year yet. The Crest Crank will be the final day of Salida Bike Fest week which includes days of fun for cyclists of all abilities and their families. This is the Crest Crank’s 15th year and AADA will continue to offer advanced mountain bikers the chance to ride the famed Monarch Crest Trail, as it has since 1998.
Entry remains $75, plus pledges, for the Monarch Crest Trail ride. On top of this bargain price, we highly encourage you to raise at least the same amount in personal pledges and sponsorships.
Your entry fee for the adult rides includes the ride, guide, shuttle and of course, our legendary party in Riverside Park after the ride. The top fundraiser bringing in more than $500 of pledges wins a stylish new cruiser bike. It’s a sweet bike too!
